I love how the stars shine through the orange sky. How long of an exposure did you use? Great composition!!

Somewhere in my :+fav: list is a photograph that has the same colour scheme. (obviously the reason for being in my :+fav: list in the first place!)

:D

Time to give it a partner!

yet another :+fav: it's really a nice work. Full of details. How did you get the colours?

chears man, the colours were Natural...ish... :-)

the actual colour is real as the street lights difused through the mist very well, even though they were quite bright I had to take the frames at around 15-20 seconds exposure so they came out bright enough, the only edit in PS was contrast to enhance the colour already there

oh that's pretty good. I tried to shoot in .raw - it was very nice. I think I'll use that more often. When I might want to print a photo.

always back up your .raw files before editing them, I opened a few in PS and edited them, I then clicked on open to transfer it from the applet to PS for further tweeking and saved to jpg but the original .raw file was overwriten by the edit in the raw applet even though I didn't choose to overwrite it!!

Raw can be good but is very time consuming which puts me off, I prefer taking the photo's instead of spending too much time editing :-)

yes raw is not easy to work with. I edited a bit and saved the file as a .dng (digital negative). I opened it in PS and I tried to convert as a .jpg, but it couldn't. I could only save as .psd. Well I thought if I have the file as a .psd I can always convert. So I did closed the program and opened the .psd file. I couldn't save as a .jpg, only if I used the save for website function. I saved it as a .jpg file, but it was only on 96x96 dpi!!! (I wanted to make a print so I couldn't settle with that). Anyway I ended up opening the .raw file and starting all over and converting to .jpg.
